Wi Fi connections booming due to the release of the iPhone 3.0

The new iPhone 3.0 has really caused a major increase in the wireless connections over at AT&T. It was said that nearly fifteen million of the users connected to the Wi-Fi network last quarter. There has now been to date, a forty one percent increase from the last quarter, most definitely a very substantial figure.

The auto authentication feature on the new iPhone 3.0 has truly made it a lot easier to connect to any available Wi Fi hotspot, of which, AT&T has twenty thousand.

This really is big news for mobile internet users. My biggest bug-bear was not being able to get online cheaply where ever I was and being being a regular surfer that annoyed me tonnes. I think the iphone is a big expensive though.
