Just a quick note if you are using the SPA-2000 from Sipura and connect an old telephone, the mechanical bell kind. Your phone won't ring because the SIP adapter doesn't put out enough juice to activate the bell.
I suspect that will be the case with other adapters, or if you connect one of the old fashioned ringers up.
Don't you love the sound of the old mechanical phone ringers?
